Hey, fellow readers + authors! I’m R. Skye and I am an indie author myself. In September 2024, I published my debut fantasy novel, The Queendom of Shadows & Steel.
I chose the indie route because I wanted to have full control over my book and I have found so much love and support in the indie community. I wanted to create an amazing space where indie authors and artists can find love and support.

What I want to accomplish here…
My goal is to feature other indie authors, artists, and even other book blogs FOR FREE. The indie community is thriving and I want to do what I can to help us all succeed. There is always someone out there who is craving the exact story that you have written! And I’d like to help connect you if I can. :)
How will I keep the blog free for promotions?
Well, I plan to create resources and services for authors, sell fun merch, and add a donation area where you can support what I do! The BIGGEST thing you can do to show your support is to read, review, and share my books!
How long will it take to hear back from me?
Honestly…it’s hard to say! This blog is starting out as a fun hobby to help support others in my space! It could take me a couple of weeks, but I plan on sharing as many as I can as long as it financially makes sense to do so (if I have to pay for a more expensive site hosting plan because of all of the media that is shared on here)!
