Nico Silver | Author

Nico is a queer nonbinary writer of urban fantasy, dark fantasy, epic fantasy, and the romantic versions of all three. They like stories with at least a little bit of magic lurking on the edges and tend to write about finding oneself and one’s purpose in life, learning to find joy in everyday things, and sweet-but-spicy love stories where two people face down the horrors life throws at them together.

They are also an artist and illustrator (as Nik Sylvan), and the print versions of their Three Realms, Nine Monarchs epic romantic fantasy series (beginning with A Vision of Air) are all fully illustrated.

They have also written a dark urban fantasy series called Fictive Kin (starting with Daughter of Foxes) and two spin-off series of romance duologies and standalones called Wolves of Autumn (Chosen of Gods and Heart of Outcasts are out so far) and Autumn & Arcadia (Waking Pan is out now).

Connect with Nico on social media, where you’ll find them as @nicosilverbooks on Instagram, Threads, and TikTok (though they post very rarely on the latter) and @NicSilver on Facebook. Their website is nicosilverbooks.com.

After living on both coasts of Canda and places in between (as well as three years in the US as a child), Nico has finally settled down on an island off the west coast with their partner, his two children, an elderly cat, a leopard gecko, and an assortment of fish.

Change is coming to the Autumn County werewolves, and someone would kill to keep it from happening.

Justin thought a nice long run in the woods would help sort out his problems; he’d get some fresh air and exercise, and if he just happened to disappear then he wouldn’t need to worry about losing his job, his apartment, and his future. But when he wakes up in the dirt, bloody and confused, with a naked man leaning over him, asking if he’s all right, he suddenly wants very much to live. Because even if Bjarni is way out of his league, he can’t deny the spark between them.

Bjarni is the asshole of the family. He’s the middle of three werewolf brothers, and a womanizing, hard-drinking, fight-starting disgrace. So when he finds a newly-changed werewolf in the woods, everyone he knows would have expected him to just dump the young man on his older brother and pack leader. Instead, Bjarni finds himself unexpectedly attracted to Justin.
